Thomas Forster Glenwright(DOB 1827) - Allendale, Northumberland/ United Kingdom
married Hannah Greggs of Weardale prob. 1868. Immigrated to America 1870 and lived in Scranton, Pa. where Joseph Greggs Glenwright was born in 1871.
Mined anthracite in Dunmore, Pa before moving to Westville, N.S. 6to mine coal. Died the Drummond Colliery May 13, 1873 during the disaster, tho` he worked the Black Diamond Colliery. His son John George was born in 1874 after Tom`s death. Thefamily moved back to England (Wolsingham, Dur.) and was there for the 1881 census. They moved to Manitoba abt. 1882.
