Anne was stationed with me in Edinburgh in June/July 1945 when we were both training as Telephonists at Craigmiller ATS Signal School. From there we went to London in August 1945 we were billeted in Latimar Court Hammersmith but ended up being moved to Upper Grosvenor St. We worked on the switchboard at London District HQ in Curzon St off Park Lane where Iremained until 1946 when I left and was posted to Germany. I left Anne behind in London. We met up several times after that and we had a holiday in the Isle of Man approx 1947 I lost touch when I lost her address. The last time I heard from her she was getting engaged to a Guardsman I can`t remember which Regt. Anne was known as the strawberry blonde because of her colour hair. If you are out there Anne or anyone who might know her Please get in touch I have never have never you and hope you have never forgotten me .
