ASTLEIGH COOPER-KEY

I`m trying to trace anyone who knew MAJOR ASTLEIGH/ASTLEY COOPER-KEY, apparently already married and from Hythe, in Kent (my real grandfather). He had a liaison with a DOROTHY Ada BRUCE, who was living at 17, Cambridge Terrace, Paddington, London, in the 1930`s. From this liaison a little girl was born, Jacqueline (my mother), who was then given up for adoption. What happened to MAJOR ASTLEIGH COOPER-KEY from here in the 1930`s ...? World War 2 ..? Friends ? Other family ...? When did he die ..? If anyone has any information, I would be grateful. It was a long time ago but it would be nice to be filled-in on the details. Many thanks.
