"The People Finder" welcomes you, and here's a little bit about us...
The site was created back in November 1999, after we identifying a need for an
completely automated posting service for people looking for one another. This came about
after 1000's of messages were being left on may of our other sites. The main reason for
the registering process, was primarily to stop "web spiders" trawling
1000's of emails and using them as marketing Spam... and secondly so people looking
for one another would have certain details that would distinguish themselves
... and a verified point of contact.
The information supplied by other users is only available to other registered users
and can not be trawled by any spider.
As long as you do not enter your email address or specific postal address, telephone
numbers into any other field apart from the Email field, no other third-party
will be able to get hold of your contact details. Contacting each other is done through
the site. If a particular user becomes annoying to another user then he may be
removed from the database. We have tried to make the web site as intuitive as possible and
are always developing it to enhance the service that we bring to you. We make
no money from this service and offer all users a free passage.
